Yup! Bonobos (Pan paniscus) are a type of ape that are very closely related to the common chimp (Pan troglodytes). Generally, they're a bit smaller than chimps and have a very different society: while chimps use aggression to solve disputes within the community, bonobos use sexual appeasement to solve disputes.
