Air might not be her friend. When was the last time air apologized to her for stinking? Or offered to buy her dinner? Or even sat down, listened to a complaint, and gave up constructive advice? Hmm?
In fact, air might be a back-stabbing, two-timing, moocher. Bastard! Come to think of it, I strongly suspect it is. Wandering around, caressing everyone w/o a care to her feelings or what she may think about it.
My advice to lower stress would be to simply start a large fire. Consume up as much air as possible - breathing isn't nearly quick nor violent enough! Screw air! Burn, baby! Burn!

:-D But air and water get along far better... and we're talking about punishing that two-timing air, remember?!?
Besides, as you say, it is a lot safer for me to scream 'burn it' when I'm way down here. The surface can ash itself to the bedrock for all I care. :-)
Sure sure, a little boiling and evaporation might cause some trouble. That's the true threat of fire to water... up close it is meaningless, from a ~distance~, however, the tables turn and it can really mess up Water's day with no chance of reprisal. (No wonder I'm far more of a melee fighter and never delved much into the firearm realm.)
But in any case, it is in her best interest not to burn too close to the water. Water gets too hot and it turns into... get this... MORE AIR. And *that* doesn't help her current problem, now does it??
