And you ask me to play this game without question

Well, I just finished my first week as a member of the working world, and I've concluded that I dislike the 9-5 lifestyle.  I consider mornings to be something to sleep through, not something to be awake and working during.  Also, I've just been so bloody tired and apathetic when I get home that I don't do much except sit around and be lazy.  This ( Read more... )

I hate working in the morning so damn much. What I'm more annoyed by, though, is when I have both morning and evening shifts in the same week. The result of that is inevitably that I'm so tired from waking up early that I sleep until right before the evening shift... which means I have no time to do anything at all that day. I get home from work and have to go bed a couple of hours later to deal with the next morning shift. Boo!

But having someone to come home to does make it a lot easier.

That really sucks. The one advantage of 9-5 is that although I have to adjust my sleep schedule, I can keep it consistent. I wasn't even able to sleep in this morning, which is kind of annoying. I didn't set an alarm, I just couldn't stay asleep. I'm definitely looking forward to having Laura back in town. I'm just a little starved for human company right now; I sit at a computer all day at work, and then come home and sit in front of my computer more. Well, unless I'm going to kung fu. But most of the time.

I'll try to entertain you in the evenings when I get back, love- I think that our sleep schedules will line up nicely after a while.

You don't need to entertain me, love. Just having you there and being able to talk to you, touch you, spend time with you- that would be excellent. Although I promise to give you space until you get over your family OD if you need it.
