So it seems that payroll deducted an extra $190 from my check; there is no reason listed next to it besides "Pay Adjustment". They can't tell me why. I am on the phone trying to figure it out right now

why do you have twitter? I've never understood people's dislike of it-it's like a cross between a f'book status update, lj & the facebook share feature

I can't quite put my finger on it. It seems to me a conundrum to think all I have to say is 140 characters and yet still want a stream-of-consciousness update.

It's based on the fact SMS (ie text messaging) is 160 characters. Very few people do 'stream of conscious', most most links or funny quips. I rarely say "i'm going to x place' but I will post that my cat knocked over a container of sugar & my kitchen looks like the colonists went insane over taxes. So eh

I suppose I shouldn't judge until I visit, but it's more fun this way - to hate the nameless/faceless things. To call them evil. To tell everyone that they should all have blond haired blue eyed children....er wait a second, that was a step too far, wasn't it?
