Dead tired, going to bed after I post this. Nathan is officially moved into his new apartment, and I will be joining him there as soon as I have a method of paying my portion of the rent and upkeep, or until all that gets worked out somehow ( Read more... )

I got through the Renegade base near Triet, and discovered something unnerving: apparently, I've grown so attached to Botta's character that it causes me a fairly significant amount of distress to fight against him. *facepalm*

i think loyalty, even to fictional characters, is always admirable. *g*

I suppose my attachment wouldn't be so distressing if I didn't know for a fact that later on in the game, in a scene which is pretty emotional even for people who *aren't* particularly attached to him, he'll give his life to save the party. Now that I'm devoted to my interpretation of him, that's going to be pure torture, more than it ever was in the past.

Well, I get the same way when I have to fight Kratos, complete with screaming at him-or the TV. Not that that's uncommon in the first place.

Kratos, I can understand, sure, or Zelos and even Yuan...but Botta's a minor character. We're not supposed to fall in love get that attached to them...

Don't worry 'bout it. Me and my friend Kiran and her sister were playing, and we got through to the end of the scene, and we all burst out crying at the same time.

Her parents thought the Gamecube had broken.XD

Heheh...yeah, I am not going to be a happy camper.

Can't keep looking that far ahead, though...let's get through the Ossa Trail first, then worry about what comes after.
