Potter...I'm serious. Focus on Padma. There's a chance with her, I'm sure. Not me. I didn't hear what Malfoy and Filch said about me, but I was there when Nott testified and...it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't know that it was all true oui.
Also...I mean, I didn't even go to the authorities that day in London. You told me not to, because you'd contacted that secret group. And I told them you'd contacted the authorities, but you didn't, and if the group's a secret you can't say anything about it, so I don't know how we'll manage that one. I should've just gone to find my dad and dealt with the trouble back then. It would have made things so much easier now. It would also be easier if I hadn't caused so much trouble over the years.

I just won't see what good it'll do me. Yeah, I've managed not to get a single Detention since the return from winter break, which is...rather bloody amazing, actually, but I have six and a half fucking years of records against any reliability I might have as a witness.
Evil incarnate. I'm sure he'll ask you about who you contacted on that day in London...didn't you mention Lestrange's niece, whoever she is? I suppose that's better than nothing. And he'll just object to anything you say that paints Casal as anything but a model citizen, and he'll grill you. He's good, unfortunately. American, too, to add insult to injury. Gah.

Sylvie,
Thanks for the article and the update. It appears neither of us has had good courtroom experiences. I'm not really surprised... What do you mean of Nott? I don't understand. Elaborate.
Squibbles... Now... I would probably pay to see Parkinson flailing about angrily, trying to get her magic to work. It's a lovely image and I'm sorry to miss it.
Sylvie... I'm tired. You don't do anything here, but it exhausts you. I'm just so tired... come visit me. but hey, as a weight loss program, it works like a charm! I haven't been this skinny in years.

Perks,
Yeah, I don't know. Probably most people don't. It's all out of my hands now. Your friend Nott gave the court a glowing review of my personality and reliability as a witness. We'll leave it at that.
Oh, and do note the sarcasm which might not be coming through.
It is a lovely image. I mean, yeah, I know I know, Squibbles is this horrible disease that hasn't been around in centuries and we should all be worried, but mon Dieu - Pansy Parkinson has no magic. It can't help but be amusing!
I'm sorry to hear you're exhausted. Should I send you some crossword puzzles or something to help you occupy your time? And food? We wouldn't want you to actually be fitting into Brown's clothing. You should feel good about the body you have...had. Don't let them get you with all that ridiculous talk the media puts out about having to be skinny.

Just feeling helpless, I guess, as I'm all done and it's all out of my hands now.

I'm sure it wasn't as bad as you thought it was. What's the Defence lawyer like? Good, I'm guessing?

Seriously, though, what's the Defence lawyer like? I should probably be prepared.
