Speaking of idiots, I wish you were here for Potions with Slughorn. We would have made an impression in his class, that's for sure. It's really odd to be the quiet little Sophia Flaversham, or whatever my name of the week is, but I guess if I want to actually finish the class with a passing mark, I'll have to keep that up. I don't think I could have had much of a lower mark when Snape left.
It's starting to get warmer out here. Does it ever...I mean, have you been noticing the season changes there? Does it get any less depressing when it's no longer Winter?
Oh, sending some articles about outside events just in case you aren't hearing.

I know I generally write to you in English, but it just felt safer to write in French. I guess I'm just a little worried about what I've been hearing in the news - about the sudden influx of work your Department's been having again. I can't imagine how you must be managing with Madam Bones gone. What do you think it means? I'm very scared a little concerned about it all.
Yes, I did sign up to come home for Easter though since I know you and Maman didn't get in all you wanted to say to me about the trial, I almost considered not signing just to avoid it and, yes, I'm being good. Mostly. Well, you know me.
