well, no need to formally commit yet... just stay with him as long as you like, the way you are... if you feel ready, that's fine. i honestly think that some people just don't need that formal bond: "marriage." you know what you mean to each other... if it's an element that's gonna throw things out of whack and freak you out, get it out of the equation. lots of people aren't married, but are life-long partners, gay and straight alike.
