Weekend Update Upstate New York

Weekend update - went to Upstate New York.  Highlights include:

FLIES - tons of flies for some reason.  Possibly because we were so aggressive with the spiders last time.
SWIMMING - a rarer treat than I'd like to admit, due to the freezing water at the lake
SEAGULLS - our third day, we attracted a bunch of seagulls while we were trying to feed a poor

It's so hard for me to arrange the logistics of getting time off, getting out of the city, and getting to upstate New York that it doesn't really occur to me to bring friends, even the closest ones.

But I have lots of great memories of the place, and I'd love to bring you guys out there some time. If I can ever arrange a weekend to go up there on my own, so we're not at the mercy of family schedules, I'll get in touch with you two and we'll see if we can muster people for a visit.

We can all miss the camp... even I miss it. I wish I got to go more than a couple times a year. Someday I hope I get more of an opportunity.
