[footsteps crunching on gravel. sound of something metal being dragged along the ground-a sword, for anyone who'd be familiar with it. she clicks her tongue a few times before her voice comes in-it's almost cheerful]

Well now. This is certainly a delightful way to start off the new year. Demons attacking the city-why does this seem so familiar?
