It's a good thing you didn't eat your shoes, they're not very tasty! Maybe with some applesauce though... at least we get good food again.

Well, I hear if you boil them they soften up like jerky... I'd have to eat them both, though, I couldn't go around with just one shoe.
But we don't have to worry about that now that theres actual food.
