Who has made you smile recently?

Why, my good friends of course: Art and Paul, Elvis, Steven, Robert, David, a little Jimi, Eddie, and let's not forget Lemmy. I'm sure you know them.

As far as I'm concerned it's long past vacation time; it's time for a new direction in my life! Surely you have all heard me discuss my musical ambirion and desire to hang up the horns but this time I am surely serious. You could call this a midlife crisis but it doesn't actually apply.

Music has been around since the dawn of time. Some aspects about it have been heavenly. Other notable blips in history would make your mother blush. As of late the industry has hit a dry spell. I give credit where it is due (Ms. Jennifer Hudson, enough said, and Justin Timberlake has the world wrapped around his little finder!) but in time they will fade away. You can still find Elvis on a purse or a license plate but what are the odds of seeing Brittany Spears or any other current artist's face grinning at you as you drive down the highway?

Bless the MTV that made your fragile little minds so forgetful. At least your parents still remember their first Beatles concert. But never fear, because I am here with the remedy! You can't forget what will never leave the music industry: something literally ageless!

Everything was finalized in my head one night when I decided to skip a visit to a certain renowned political whose name would not be professional to mention but it is, in fact, the person you are thinking of right now. Instead I put up my feet and turned on the radio and let my wonderfully warped mind soak everything in. Everything. From the lyrics to the bass line.

Nobody is more qualified for the job than one such as myself who sang along with the first hymns and saw rock and roll through from the very beginning! In conclusion the dream is no longer on the backburner and will be in full effect before you can say one hit wonder.

All of it makes my little heart aflutter! It feels so…how does one put it…warm and fuzzy. That brings me a big smile.

I'm late for my meeting with Tony Visconti. I’ll be seeing you
