Call after call. Doorbell ring after doorbell ring. Did Lelouch suggest for them to live together just to get the pizza addict of his back? No, of course not. He said it in a way of ‘C.C. would be better off living with a female than with me. And since both of you are my precious allies, it’s important for you two to bond. I’m counting on you, Kallen. If not for me, then do it for Zero.’
What a joke, Lelouch.
Just how much tomato sauce, cheese, and bread could one person eat? Just watching the green haired girl was making her sick. Breakfast. Brunch. Lunch. Dinner. And how the hell did she keep her figure? Kallen knew if she even attempted to eat that much, it would probably go to her waist or to her breasts. That was something she didn’t want.
Kallen was bored and of course, C.C. set up herself in front of the TV, watching the news that occupied the station’s time. Kallen sat on the couch, which was behind C.C., idling watching the box in front of her.
“Britannia is in a panic. Doesn’t that make you happy?”
“I’ll be happier when we bring them down… for good.”
The two could never really hold a conversation. They would ask each other close-ended questions only to receive close-ended answers.
“How much does Lelouch, or rather Zero, mean to you?”
Kallen almost choked on air when the long haired girl asked that question.
“Where do you get off even asking something like that? They’re two different people,” Kallen retorted after her coughing fit. Her position was solid. Zero and Lelouch while were the same person, were not to her.
“I am merely curious.” C.C. looked back at her with the tilt of her head. Cheese was hanging from her mouth, connecting to the pizza slice in her right hand.
“Look. He’s- Just eat your pizza,” Kallen stammered.
“Very well.” C.C. smiled, continuing to eat her food. She was determined to get that answer out of Kallen before she left, no matter how many times she would have to ask.
