The Power of Words (or Words of Power?)

What makes some words so powerful so as to be taken as far as being forbidden to be said in public? Let's think just for a moment what words are. Sounds created by our mouths. However, these sounds are used to communicate intentions or thoughts. But to me, words only matter if you, the person on the recieving end of the words, LET IT matter.

some words, phrases, and expressions are so undermined these days. like "i'm tired". and yeah, a lot of swear words. and then some people take things so seriously (or wrongly)...what can you do. i got an email the other day. this guy misinterpreted what i wrote in my blog about FAKE? and called me one of those disgusting FANGIRLS. it was weird and interesting at the same time. anyway, totally get you with the misinterpretations. a ton of people think i'm a bitch but i'm the NICEST PERSON IN THE WORLD RIGHT TIKKU??? haha :)
