You bought the wrong soap. There are a bunch of annoyed letters on complaints.com that the packaging for Dawn dish soap and hand soap are too similar!

That's interesting...the P&G website leads one to believe that it is both a dishwashing liquid and a hand soap:

Is the product seriously only a hand soap? If that's the case, I'm shocked that the retailer would put it in the same location - they're super-picky about how much space they give to any product line in any location. We have to pay slotting fees to get our products on the shelf in a decent (eye-level) location with any kind of width to the display.

Yep, I looked at the bottle again, and in one spot it says something like, "Ultra concentrated dishwashing soap." Weird.

There are multiple Dawn products of course :)
I thought Jodi was looking for the one NOT labelled as a hand soap as well as a dish soap. There are also ones labelled as both. You are right, there isn't one labelled as just a hand soap, I misspoke. Last I checked they did still have regular dawn that didn't have handwashing instructions on it.
