i was planning on going there sometime soon, but money, or lack thereof, and my job situation have squelched that plan.

i decided i want to cut that dyed part out after all - it's now faded to two different colors (the majority being mousey brown) and it's just damaged and floofy. i might be out of town when you come in town but i should know tomorrow if that is the case or not.

i actually don't know anything about them, but the link provided for them in the turduken email is www.mono-44.com. fly pan am has some of the members of godspeed you black emperor and a silver mt zion which is originally why i wanted to go. the description for mono in the email is...

impressive symphony of sound in spite of their relatively small line-up. These days, Mono have become one of the most passionately aggressive rock bands of the last decade, with their soaring crescendos, titanic sheets of distortion and dark melodies executed with the delicacy and precision of a paper crane. BUT DUDE. why would you say i wouldn't want to hang out with you? of course i ( ... )

thanks for the info. didn't know about the gybe/asmtzion connection to fly pan am, defenetely interested now for sure.

once you get back we can hang out sometime, i have a bunch of dvds i have to give you so you can watch them when you can (no time limit on how long you can keep em ok, i know how it is not having a lot of time), mostly japanese and south korean and i think you'd dig them.
