i saw, i'm glad that you're feeling better.. my first thought when i saw that you had to go to the emergency room was what you went through two years ago and i was hoping you weren't going to have to go through the same thing again. :/ sorry that it had to happen over xmas too. i had food poisioning my senior year of high school... believe me, i definitely remember how awful that was. <3

words cant express how upsetting the whole thing is. when i first heard about it, it was 'just' 7,000. i've made donations to the International Red Cross and to UNICEF.

Drew & I are going to be in NOLA for New Year's, but it looks like you're headin' to Miami? Damn you! We must hang out down there together some bloody time!

i am, i will be in ft lauderdale. :/ i got drew's messages yesterday but i haven't had a chance to call him back yet. we're heading out in just a few minutes, actually. that really sucks i'll be missing both of you guys. >.< especially since i wasn't able to meet up with drew in chicago and this is the second time i'm missing you here. i was in mgm for "xmas" for less than a 24 hour period- i wasn't even there on xmas because i was caught here in the snow... and by the time it was safe to drive i had to turn around and drive back here for work.

have a safe trip and a fun time down here. feel free to call if you guys need any NO related help/suggestions - i will definitely have my cel phone with me.

i dontated after ery posted about it. i haven't wanted to post because i feel really bad for the people affected by this, but as a geologist i think the whole earthquake causing major tsunamis and offsetting the earth's rotation is pretty neat. i don't feel i can say one thing without the other, so out of respect i haven't said anything. but i did donate a little more than my broke self can afford.
