Amazon Prime

My Amazon Prime trial expired. Having just ordered something from Amazon that shipped on the 4th and isn't going to arrive until the 12th (!), I'm thinking about signing up for Prime. It's $70 though. Does anyone else use Prime or consciously not use it? Your thoughts?

i know a few people who use it and swear by it, but i just don't see the justification. $70/year for faster shipping? we usually get our orders in 2-3 days or 4-5 if they're being "slow" (provided it's not from a merchant).

i mean, really - how quickly do you REALLY need that copy of twilight?

If I lived in the US, I'd probably fork out for it.

Also, it annoys me that they keep wanking on that I am eligible to trial it. You'd think they'd add an extra line of code to see if my address is within America, and stop trying to push it on me if it wasn't.

They must be lazy all around then. They keep offering me a trial even though I've already used up my trial.

i do fear that having prime would just result in me buying more stuff i don't need. :p
