Gah!! Such pretty music <3 <3 They were all new songs to me, so I wanted to listen to them for a while before leaving a comment, and OMG SLOW SHOW is SO THEM. SO THEM! The tone of the music just fits perfectly.....it's happy because he found her and wants to run home to her, but the tone of the music is also dark and raw, because inside he is deep and raw.........but despite all that, he still just wants to make her laugh. This dichotomy totally fits Sawyer, IMO. and i adore the ending lines, "You know I dreamed about you, I missed you for, for 29 years," because I think that Sawyer totally felt that once he saw what love with Juliet was (except he was probably waiting a bit longer than 29 years, lol). And we know she felt the same way

This. Exactly this. I've tended to always lean towards the angst and tragedy in anything I've done for them fannishly, so I really wanted to make something happier and this was the result. All we get on LOST is the drama (obviously and of course), when the majority of their time together wasn't like that. In any case, late reply is a thousand years late but thank you again!
What a lovely response! I've gone back to listening to Slow Show in the past fews days actually (half of my mp3 player is a Suliet fanmix by default), and gah, i still absolutely adore that song. So happy to have discovered it! Anyway, I ended up finishing (& posting!! eee!) my own Suliet fanmix as well. It's actually my first ever fanmix and I'm rather happy the way it turned out :)
