Recently watched Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella on stage.
It was one of most enjoyable musicals I've seen so far. I admit I'm a sucker for happy-ever-afters and Cinderella was exactly that. Watching it made me remember the days when my father would read to me fairy tales. It didn't really add anything to the story and I didn't expect it to. It was just like watching in live action what I've only imagined when I was little.
My favorite scene would have to be when the fairy godmother was using her magic to help Cinderella go to the ball.
