If you're curious, this is a written account of what I saw/ did/ felt while in Paris, Bruges, Brussels, & Amsterdam!
It's been exactly 4 months since my trip to Europe which is a long time to procrastinate on writing one's memories... but better late than never, right?

I told my friends tonight that I'm sick of happy endings.
So one says 'boy & girl fall in love, then get struck by lightning, the end. Is that your type of story?'
But unhappy endings don't always have to involve death.
(& we were watching an amazing lightning storm so the reference makes sense.)

I can't relate to this song in any way, but I love how she sings with such passion. I often think that if I had a talent for singing I would want to sound like Natalie Merchant from 10,000 Maniacs or Stevie Nicks ( Read more... )

School starts in 37 days & I can hardly wait. I am so over Summer. Well, I think I was over it a long time ago. So many things have just been getting my nerves & I just want to drown in art & assignments to forget about other aspects of life. Maybe that sounds childish but right now, my life has no purpose. The other week my professor said her father used to be a cinematographer/ director of photography & nowadays he says a monkey could do that job. That made me really sad because that's like my dream job.
