After hours of looking at patterns and swatches (yes, swatches, stop laughing, Sirius) Molly and I came up with something deceptively simple for the entire place. And then we blew dozens of holes in the roof. It was actually rather theraputic--except for the bit where we had to explain to some neighbors coming back from shopping for cloth why on ( Read more... )

Well, actually, I do. I haven't any plans on living here on any sort of extended basis if it's going to look like a--well, a hole.

And yes, I've gotten her down. In pieces. Which I still have, in a box, if you'd like them. Sorry I couldn't keep her in one piece. She's still very vocal, though.

Remus! How lovely that you put some holes in that roof. Now no one will ever be shut up in that horrible attic ever again.

Let me know if you need more assistance. I once lived in that house, after all, and I know all of its secrets. At any rate, there are various things that will only work for a Black, though I'm not sure they will still work for a Black that has been blasted off the tapestry . . .

Seafoam green? Are you sure?

I think that a nice plum or mauve shade would make this place look like a bordello.

I've decided on a colour something like this. I'll start painting tomorrow. Everyone's welcome.

It most certainly would not.

Oh, Remus. I suppose the color is your choice, but...
