I love this moment in the game and I think you captured her thought process perfectly!

I'm glad you like it! And yeah, this is definitely one of the best moments in the game. As much as her fight with Braig was cool, it kind of felt a bit like 'pair the spares' to me...so the fact she got the big ultimate finale boss battle at the very end was pretty awesome! (So, of course, once I finally got five minutes spare to write, that's what I picked!)
