I don't really have any details to share about the new job. Waiting for security clearance. BUT I have another job interview tomorrow for something completely different - advertising sales at a newspaper. Ack! This is my third interview with this paper for this position so like I am doing good? I am so not a sales person or am I? I've made it ( Read more... )

I got SPC a jacket -- and I don't think it looks like a Members Only type jacket but now that you mention it. MAYBE IT DOES! I'll have to show it to you next time I see ya! (I should be home by 4 pm on Wednesday!)

Good luck on that interview. Sounds sucky ("hours long")...but intriguing. Is this position better than the new job?

Your reference is going out tomorrow!!!!!

I called the newspaper and said no thanks to the interview because I didn't want to do it! So yay me, but they kind of made me feel guilty a little and made it sound like I had a job. Oh well! I have a job. It's going to take several paychecks for that to sink in.

I think there is a difference from looking like a members only jacket and being one. Maybe? I will have to see and make a ruling.

I'm glad you cancelled the interview -- since you didn't want to do it and you don't sound like you really want to be in sales.

Oops --SPC should have been SCH (Space Cop Hater). But you can read my mind, I guess, since you seemed to know what I was talking about.

Long day. My brain is pffffftttt.

Oh it took me awhile! At first glance I thought SPC was a brand name, but I figured it out. I think the horror I've been seeing in jackets is a hint of Member's Only combined with a horrible color (which is a paradox because that's one of the horrors of MO jackets). I saw a ugly blue jacket on Reaper that prompted the post. You know how hard it is to make the color blue ugly? And it wasn't even "baby" blue! As long as you didn't get SCH a light canary yellow or rust colored jacket - which you never would- you are fashion safe!

Speaking of fashion I need to email you about ANTM!
