I gave up on M. Night a few years ago, but it sounds like something over which I'll have a good laugh. OMG, The Birds really is a classic; I hope no one compares the two films because part of the horror of that movie is not ever knowing why those damned birds were behaving madly. I mean, Hitchcock didn't even add the caption "The End" at the end of the movie! It's the only one he didn't because he wanted it to feel open ended, like it's not over and maybe crazy birds are just the beginning. So yeah, birds vs. evil plants? Birds win. Hands down, baby!

Um. That totally makes me want to watch the movie! Sounds like a throwback to those B-movies about Killer Bees, tomatoes, etc. YAY!
