Update: Tonight was a breakthrough night. Many adjustments of form later, and it completely revolutionized the way D and I can dance together. Suddenly he's leading and I'm able to follow in a way to make sense. And with the new teachers at this level, they bother to correct me on occasion, which is fabulous b/c now I'm being challenged during class not just on the social dance floor. I have renewed faith.
