You wear black scrubs right? get black stretch fabric, gore your pants on the sides by adding a 6 inch strip of this material in each seam. Enjoy the blessed blessed bending. I have seen girls do this.
Also would you be able to wear something like this?
When I first started working as a radiographer we had to wear white dresses with belts. Belts that just plain didn't go round my middle, so I got told off and had to have one made that didn't match the other people's in the department. Plus the dresses would ride up with you bent, stretched, lifted ... anything. Oh, and of course we had to wear tights and underskirts too. The blokes wore shirts, trousers and white coats.
It was *so* good when the uniform changed to trousers and tunics.
I always likes scrubs, on the very very rare occasions that some extra large were left in theatre changing room - because no one, ever actually wore small or medium unless they were themselves sized extra small.
I feel you pain. Can you raise it as a health and safety matter? That's how we did it in the end, not being able to move and lift properly was too much of a hazard in the dresses.
MMmm I on on hand love my scrubs and find them comfortable. I feel your pain though. The scrubs that I have felt that fit me best being a bigger girl are surgical scrubs. Usually the blues and greens that they wear in the OR. I have managed to snag a few from work, but I have found some at the thrift stores. I do not know if this is an option for you.
Good luck because I was a nurse's aide and still do that stuff and also am an LPN now. Good luck and keep us posted!
