Some activist things are kind of class-centric but none so much as making black Friday "buy nothing day." The upper 50% don't get up at 4:30 in the morning and stand in line in the cold in front of a store until the doors open at 6:00 to save $80.00 on Lego sets for their children. They don't need to. Having spent a lifetime in the lower 10% I can tell you, if not for those "doorbuster" sales I would not be able to get these things for my children at all. Most days are already "Buy nothing days" they are the days there is no money to buy anything with. Its a reality of life at the bottom that I just live with. I only pray that when Toys R Us is selling big Lego sets at $40.00 off retail while limited supplies last starting at 6 AM I'm not so broke that I can't get one.
