There are parts of the plot that I find problematic/troubling, but your voice in this is so strong and so powerful. This is the best thing you've written that you've posted here.

Thanks so much for reading! I would definitely love specific comments -- I want to work on revising it and I think there are big problems with the ending scenes, to say the least. Not to mention my general lack of research on drag queens. Thanks for being willing to take the time, and being (as always!) so helpful and encouraging.

I guess typos are what you get when you diss the greats of Russian literature? (Also when it's somebody I still haven't managed to read?)
