Thanks! Chris's voice drove me crazy when I was writing this -- I kept feeling like it was over the top and then realizing, wait, that's Chris. So. It makes me really glad that it worked for you! :)

And I feel like he is this guy who has been totally vilified, and everyone is all "Rob Lowe doesn't even fit in the show and Emmys and blah blah blah" but I trust the writers; I think they are leaving making him a bit of an outsider for a reason. I think one of my hopes for season four is that they explore the Ben/Chris friendship a bit more. I like your version of him!

Honestly, all the Chris!hate kinda mystifies me. I wasn't sure about him at first but I really do enjoy him now; I feel like he's the kind of character only Parks & Rec could pull off. I definitely agree with you, though, I want to know more about the Chris/Ben dynamic next season. :)

I don't know if it's because I've been watching (and rewatching) The Vicious Kind again lately but I think Ben would look great in a depression beard and that could work in future chapters as surely Leslie and Ben, both, would be depressed because they can't be together. Just a thought.

I definitely see what you mean about Ann & Chris -- I think she needs to learn how to be herself in a relationship where she really likes the guy (which I honestly think is new for her with him) and honestly I like the possibility of them together (which might just be me), and I'm glad that even if you're not sure, you're along for the ride. (Sorry, I definitely didn't mean to ramble so much...)
