Wow, this chapter is fantastic. I really felt broken-hearted throughout in a good way. I loved seeing Ben's misery through April's eyes, and I loved that she also gave him (and Mouserat) some outside purpose by asking him to be band hardass. I'm such a fan of April/Andy/Ben roommates-wise.

Ann was great in this chapter, too. When she and Leslie are in BFF mode? That's the best.

Can't wait to see how the next chapter pans out.

This is the first time I've commented on this, but I've read every part and loved ever word. I love Ben and his beard, April asking for his help, and all of the Ann & Leslie interactions-their BBf-ery here is just like in the show. :)

Aww, thanks! I just posted the next part (my internet connection mysteriously disappeared...long story), which I hope will kill you a little less? I'm glad you liked the Mr. Smith tie-in -- I watched it in full for the first time recently (I watched the first 20 minutes when I was seven, and after deciding Jimmy Stewart was adorable I fell asleep) and it really is the perfect movie for Leslie to love, right? Ahhh! I've just sat here and read this whole thing instead of sleeping, and I love it so much. I haven't really read any fic in this fandom, but your voices are perfect. I've basically just been watching this as a episode in my head XD I love all the little details - like how Jean-Ralphio did a great job pushing "send" on all the emails! OH, LESLIE. OH, BEN. I can't wait for the next installment!
