this was great! I still love how conflicted Chris is, but I'm a bit nervous that the scandal brewing at the end of the chapter will lead to more angst for Leslie and Ben. I'm wrong, aren't I? :-)

I deeply, deeply love the scene where they are on tv. Perd's voice is spot-on, the increase in ratings when Ben goes on-screen is beautiful, and the glitch in the camera (be still, my heart). Oy.

Love when Chris reveals to Ann that he knows about B/L. I do wonder.

Excellent update! I loved how Chris is kinda foiled by his own (stupid) rule, how Leslie and Ben said "I love you", how Andy was stressing out over nothing, the ferris wheel ride, the whole Perd Hapley segment (especially how Ben's appearance on TV spikes ratings, and how the teenage demographic is fond of him), and the whole raccoon debacle.

Aww, so sweet! I love how they say they love each other, like it being impulsive for Leslie and then Ben admitting he's loved her forever, lol. I'm still not sure about the Ann/Chris relationship in general, so I really appreciate the conflicts you present in them. Also super nervous about the scandal! Eep! Great work and looking forward to the rest!
