People always talk about how April is such a difficult character to write--and she is, and you captured her perfectly here--but I'm actually really impressed by your Ann. Her growth was subtle, but I loved that moment when she didn't accept Leslie's "I'm sorry" as a blanket apology right away. Those two have a lovely friendship, but it's so much healthier for both of them that Ann not be the only one who bends when push comes to shove.
