We've talked about this before, but I do love the tempted-to-have-sex-right-there-but-of-course-we-can't-darnit drunk Leslie. And the use of the word "bang" - somehow that's precisely the right word for him to use when he's all excited and a little overwhelmed and and a lot drunk.
Sexy, post-election, drunken role play? Yes, please!
“I’m feeling like I’m happy for you and I’m happy for me but I’m sad that I’m leaving for Washington and I’m going to miss you a lot but I’m so happy you won the election, Leslie.” He’s turned to face her and hey, at least she doesn’t feel the need to do him immediately or die, except that now part of her really wants to cry. You know you're a great writer when you can make the reader feel incredibly happy and then incredibly sad all within a sentence. :)
