1. Himawari is indeed married! Watanuki appears to have broken her curse(???), and in gratitude she. comes to visit him once a year on his birthday and hands him a present. the rest of the time she lives over the phone far away with her husband.

2. After a conversation to that effect, Doumeki PULLS OUT THAT FREAKING EGG, stares at is for a bit, and says "Well, she's probably the only one who can give him what he really wants."
