Bringing in characters who died

Hi mods,

I'm thinking about apping a character I played in a steampunk tabletop, but as the end of the game, she died. I'm wondering if she's still eligible for me to app, with her death already happened. She'd be recovery from the belief that she isn't still dead -- or she might believe Baedal is the afterlife.

I can give more details if you need it, and I apologize profusely if this is already in the FAQ or rules and I just somehow missed it.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your issue is not in the FAQ, but we're going to add it.

There should be no trouble bringing in a character after their in-canon death and we look forward to receiving your application.

One of the mod team still can't reliably access LJ, so it might be a little longer before we're able to process apps in the queue.

This is just a tiny, tiny thing I just noticed, but the hiatus/drop post isn't linked in any of the sidebars and can only be found via the tags on the OOC com. It might be useful to have it be a little more easily found for hiatusing and stuff.

Dumb Question #217

What sort of food is generally available in the kitchen at the inn. Would it mostly be raw materials to cook things?

There's a continental breakfast available, a hot meal in the evenings, and a smaller kitchenette for patrons who want to cook their own food/have special dietary needs. Generally speaking, if folks want to cook their own, they need to purchase it or help out in the gardens.
