Summary: I was the deadliest sin of all and I am going to be the destroyer of all mankind
Synyster sat on his throne and watched as his servants did all his bidding. Syn closed his eyes for half a second before a guard was at his feet with a message. He was still lost in thought
‘I was the most powerful, I couldn’t die, I couldn’t be hurt but I was still missing the main thing in my life. I lost the one thing that made me sane, it made me whole, but I couldn’t have it because I killed it. I killed the love of my life, my precious little girl. These powers that I asked for were too much to handle and I killed every living being that stood in my way.’
“Sir, I think we may have a lead on where they are,” the guard with the hazel eyes and dark hair was kneeling down at the bottom of his throne with a scroll in hand. Syn stood quickly and snatched the rolled up piece of paper out of his hand, causing him to flinch.
“Shadows, find Plague and Christ we’re going to Romania and I need my best guards.” Shadows ran out of the throne room and through the castle, anyone could hear his large feet pound against the tile in search of the two. He opened the scroll and read over the writing.
Sir Gates,
It is in his greatest pleasure to announce we may have found the twins. I may be wrong but there is something definitely suspicious about this town. They’re hiding something and I will find out what it is. This country is full of deceitful liars that will tell me anything as long as they get something in return. Please hurry I feel that they are on the move.
James
He placed the scroll down on the stand next to him.
“Every one, get ready, we’re going to be on the move.” At the mention of motion, his soldiers were at attention. “Troops, let’s take a walk.” He grinned, ranks of wolves and demons followed his stride as they began their quest to the lands of Romania.
It was night by the time they arrived in Romania. Synyster had his crew search every place high and low for the trio but no one could find them. Someone had lied to them and that someone was going to pay. Synyster approached James’ castle with his sword in its sheath, and his dagger in his belt. Guards stopped him about three feet from the gate. Each had their sword raised high. He mentioned his name and they stepped aside.
“Where are they?” he screamed in frustration. They had returned to James’ empty handed and this made him mad. His grip tightened around the wine glass that he was currently holding. He squeezed until his knuckles were white and the cup broke into tiny shards of glass, some of them digging into his skin causing blood to run down his arm. He stared at the deep red color before wiping it away with the napkin in front of me.
“Shadows, tomorrow we return.” He nodded and excused himself from the dinner table. James sat across from him, curiosity shone deep in his eyes.
“Why is it that you want these kids?” James asked, his curiosity getting the best of him. Syn stared at the blood that was currently being wiped away from his hand with gentle care. A pair of tweezers were used to remove the small pieces of glass embedded in his hand. Syn hissed in pain when alcohol was poured over the cuts. He glared at Shadows.
“These kids are what I need to bring her back.” James nodded and took a bite of the food in front of him. Syn stared at the man across from him, he felt something funny in his stomach. It was a warm sensation and he couldn’t help but enjoy it. He only got that strange feeling when he looked at James. Syn shook his head to clear it of happy thoughts. He sighed and couldn’t help but steal another glance at the man in front of him. James looked up and saw that Syn was staring at him. He smiled around the fork in his mouth and Syn rolled his eyes in a playful manner. The man may be evil but he had a heart and it seemed to beat for James.
Syn did the unthinkable; he reached across the table and grabbed James’ hand. He sighed in relief when James didn’t pull away but laced their fingers together. Syn couldn’t help it, he wanted James, to hold him, to kiss him, to tell James that he loved him. James brought their fingers to his lips and kissed the long slender, tattooed ones. Syn could have melted right there. He stood up and made his way over to James where the older man was patiently waiting. The golden eyed man pulled the younger one into his lap. Syn felt content and he couldn’t help but close his eyes. This felt perfect.
“Brian.” James sighed out his name. Syn looked up and James pressed their lips together. No tongue, no teeth, just lips, that was all Syn needed to make him crave more. Syn was the first to break the kiss; he stood up and pulled James up with him. The younger man led the way to James’ room. He had no intentions of doing anything dirty but he wanted to be in the comfort of a bed and arms that made him feel safe.
The two made their way to James’ room where Syn kicked off his shoes and threw himself on the bed. He buried himself in the pillows and James followed quickly.
“Hold me,” Syn whispered so low, James barely heard it, but he did and he was quick to comply. He pulled the younger man to him and Syn rested his head on his lover’s chest. James ran his fingers through the dark hair that covered chocolate brown eyes, the one’s James melted under. James pressed a kiss to Syn’s head and closed his eyes. His heart was yelling at him, to tell the younger man that he loved him. He couldn’t bring himself to say it; he was so scared of the rejection he would get. For so long he wanted this and now that he finally had it, he wasn’t going to lose it.
