For my birthday (finally... Mom's been so busy lately with the store that was the first chance they had really), we didn't even discuss it at all. ( Read more... )

I love people who don't believe in anything they personally haven't experienced for themselves. Oh the ignorance.

I suggest that if you want to know what they're thinking, ask!

that's funny, from someone who's murderously against hard drugs... ¬_¬
:P
i think that the situation is a sticky one.. because people are entitled to be against something they don't agree with

But at the same time.. it's rough to have people dismiss out of hand, something you care about

And this is why I often don't talk to people about stupid things I do until I have come to a more encompassing perspective (which sometimes never comes)

I agree, however, that if it's bothering you (ange) you should bring it up with them, rather than letting them avoid it.

I "believe" in drugs... I just also know that they're HORRIBLE for you. There's a pretty big difference... her parents are denying the existence of something, not the pros/cons of it.

I'm sure they are aware that polygamy exists and bisexuality exists
They just don't like it
Much in the same way you don't like drugs (m'kay? :D)

Everyone's got their line that they won't cross
