So, Webslayer's down, and by extension, so are all the sites it hosts. It's going to be down for at least another day. It's frustrating (::twitchtwitch::), but the end result will be better. As the name indicates the Obituary Cocktail is not a tame drink. It's the concentration of absinthe (which equals dry vermouth here) that is likely the source of the warning. That aside, it is a stellar drink that retains the opalescence of the traditional absinthe drink and one that I encourage anyone rediscovering absinthe to try. If you like any of the absinthe substitutes will do here and had been the liqueurs of choice during the green fairy's ban.
Ingredients:

* 2 oz gin
* 1/4 oz dry vermouth
* 1/4 oz absinthe or substitute
