As reported from their web site, They Might Be Giants will be performing at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC on Friday, November 28, where they will be "performing a full set and then their platinum album Flood in its entirety." Like I said Sunday, I am so there! I am also tentatively in for dinner please! I just have to work out sitter arrangements. I can't wait until Christina is old enough to go, she would love it sooo much! I have so much love for TMBG live, it is the type of experience that makes me float on air, and Flood in it's entirety. HELL YEAH!!!

Also, can I express my jealousy?! England! That's my dream vacation! Plus you are going to see Top Gear!!! Take lots of pictures so I can live vicariously please!

Here's odd random information, now that you're re-surfacing. We will be flying all day next Thurs, 10/23, to land in BETHESDA for a Fri/Sat whirlwind visit. Grandfather's 90th. Dunno if you're free or willing to drive that far on Fri or Sat (24 or 25) night late for a visit. Dunno even how far it is. But we'll be there. And if all else fails, we'll wave from the airport as we come and go. =] xoxo

You can't take us to dinner =\ That's why I said "late". My grandfather's 90th birthday dinner is Friday night and I assume that since we will be there a full 48 hours that they will want all of their awake time with us.

BUT. Maybe late after dinner Fri or Sat? Or maybe lunch on Saturday if I can talk my mom into it? Are you free Friday day and/or Saturday day? If so, I can ask my mom what she thinks of us ducking out for a couple hours for coffee at least maybe, Saturday afternoon.
