1. I love the Mercy Thompson books (skkyechan turned me on to these).

2. DFW airport is on my list of hates for the reasons you list. Plus I got a very bad phone call while in DFW waiting for a flight, so this compounds it. I do my best to avoid this airport whenever possible.
