Just Some Thoughts

Pace makers only last for 6 to 10 years. When it's going on 16 years, and you're 86 years old, there aren't a lot of options.

We'll see where this goes. She's at home for now. And at least this time, I've gotten to say good bye.

Yeah. My paternal grandmother. The last one, at this point. My other grandmother passed away 2 years ago.

I don't think often about getting older, and I don't think I'm old at all, but when relatives start going, it sure reminds us of our mortality, doesn't it?
