I talked to my GM about the EKG thing. It's more normal than you think for a woman her age to have an abnormality, but it could be a variety of things from a heart palpatation to a mild heart attack. She said not to worry too much.
It was just a standard EKG test with the results coming back abnormal. My grandmother (nurse anesthetist) said that EKGs test several problems with the heart and that it coming back abnormal means one or more of those points of reference came back abnormal. The next step would be a few more tests, like a stress test.
It's not something to worry too intensely over, but it is a point of worry. I didn't want him worrying about it without some reliable info.
