Wow, so it's been like a year and a half since I've updated. Go me.
Haha
capitol_barbie tagged me for this like a million years ago, but I found it when I pushed "open draft" so here it is.

1. A structural or behavioral characteristic peculiar to an individual or group.
2. A physiological or temperamental peculiarity.
3. An unusual individual reaction to food or a drug.
List five of your own idiosyncrasies and then tag five friends to do the same.
1. I have to be covered up by my comforter when I sleep, no matter how hot it is.
2. When I eat a meal, I have the tendency to finish all of something before I'll move onto the next thing.
3. I feel odd when I'm not wearing long sleeves. Which is why I own like a million sweaters to wear over everything.
4. I organize my closet by dressy/casual, long-sleeved/short-sleeved, and then by color. And I sort of know my own system so well that (especially with pants) I can just sort of blindly grab what I want without double-checking.
5. I tend to have a million little routines in my day, and if one of them gets messed up, it really throws me off.
I'm not going to tag people. So deal.
That was fun. So anyway... what's been going on since the end of July. Obviously I no longer work at Sauder. I kind of miss the "getting paid every week" part of it, but other than that, it's much better to be here. ...I think.
Classes have stepped up to the point where every Monday night I sort of want to shoot myself, because I'll have lab from 6-9 and then come home and have a ton of work. The last four Mondays I think I've had a paper, a lab report, a paper, and a lab report and exam. And then next Tuesday I've got my ochem lab practical exam thingie. But then again I have exams Monday through Thursday next week.
That's Case for you. I think my grades are actually okay though, which is odd because it's almost midterm grades time and usually I see that and panic and think about how hard I'm going to have to work to get them back up by the end of the semester. And I don't really think that's going to happen. Except maybe in my International Health class, because I think that exam is going to have me for dinner.
Hmm, what else? Oh, I've been knitting of course. So far I've finished a
Clapotis which was a slightly belated birthday present. It turned out really well.
Up-close shot of the yarn and pattern in which the colors are actually pretty accurate.
I have about a million stories from fall retreat this weekend, but maybe I'll wait until people start sending pictures from that to tell them. And also I want breakfast. But now I've updated and I don't have to feel so guilty about my poor half-abandoned livejournal. Woot.
