Okay, yes, that apron ficlet definitely qualifies after all. Whew. *g*
The rest of these are amazing too, all these wonderful snippets of Pike-y goodness. Him recognizing that Winona is a shit seamstress better off in space is strangely touching but quite complicated too for what he's done there, and the leather-bound book is just plain wonderful. :D
The Winona drabble is my personal favorite because it's so outside of my usual image of them both... but it makes sense to me anyway, because Pike would hate to see talent and a career getting thrown away.
I'm slowly getting into Reboot fic, but this makes it easier. The Leather Bound Book drabble gives a punch, in a good way. I like stories that open up possibilities for characters who are off-screen, or mainly so. I think it will inspire fic.
Aw, glad my ficlets can warm you up a little for Reboot! I have a great love for off-screen characters too, George and Winona especially in Reboot. So much tragic, so many possibilities :)
My favourites are probably the relationship dynamic in the Pike/Gaila one (and damn, you made high heels hot in this!), the delicious Number One telling off Pike, the dark twist indicating just who could've been responsible for the Kirk boys growing up alone.

If you want to punch me, you've got to wait until I'm out of this wheelchair, you know. It's an honor thing.
I can just hear him saying that.
I think I'd like to hear the story first, before deciding about the first name thing.
Perfection.
