I am almost glad Pike has Alain because his loneliness and depression were so difficult to read, but I'm worried too...

I promise I've been working my way through this as fast as I can, even though it's largely sneaking it in between getting dragged off again, and I've had no time to comment along the way but holy shit, woman, I'm cringing for our poor, poor Christopher here. Watching him with Alain is like watching a train wreck about to happen. I don't trust that shifty bastard one bit. *grumpy, emphatic nod*

That's all I've got because otherwise I'm once again floored by your brilliant plotting and all the gorgeous, steamy sex. But seriously, largely the plot. You've outdone yourself by miles, m'dear. *g*
