Stumbled across this story from a femslash summary, and I'm so glad I did and I have loads of chapters to read at once! (Kinda feel like I'm wearing really out-of-fashion shoes or something though without a Xena/Gab icon.. Will have to remedy that!)

I'm loving this fic, even when it's heavy there are funny moment, and it sounds so much like them that it's spurred me on to get the box set and revisit all the old favourites, so thanks for your hard work :)

Thanks heaps for your feedback - I'm so glad I was stumbled upon. And that you were able to read plenty of chapters at once - I try to update as regularly as possible, 'cause no one likes waiting for a WIP.

As for you revisiting old Xena - if all that comes out of this fic is everyone watches the show again, at least once, I'll be a happy camper. I'm still such a geek for Xena.

I just spent the morning reading this story from chapter one to this. It's amazing and I love it. I found myself cursing the last two episodes again, loving the healer for saying Xena was in the damn way, and feeling the ache of Gabby as she is trying to find her own path. It's beautiful and I can not wait to read more.

I will also be pulling out my boxed set over the holidays and settling in for a long winters night.

What wonderful comments - thank you so much :) Ain't the healer a hoot? I woke up this morning after posting the new part last night and I guess she wandered in while I was sleeping to brain-poke me (Not good, it's squishy in there) and I'm going to have to try to bring her back after all this flashbacking, because I do enjoy her gruff company, and the way she bosses Xena.

As someone who is writing to you, curled up in bed with Who's Ghurkan playing in the background, I say enjoy that boxed set. Personally, I'm re-hooked. How did I live for so long without Xena? :)
