US and EU Openly Allow Military Aid to Terrorist Groups
US Secretary of State John Kerry announced that the US will provide USD 60 million in additional assistance to the Syrian opposition.
Speaking after attending a meeting of the so-called ‘Friends of Syria’ in Rome, Kerry said the US will also provide direct aid in the form of "food and medical supplies to the Syrian opposition, including the Supreme Military Council."
This announcement raises a question of what use could the Syrian people make of this money that is going to fall in the hands of those who have committing all acts of killing and sabotage against Syria.
Media reports have indicated that most of the money offered by the US and other countries involved in the conspiracy against Syria is used for buying arms to supply the terrorist groups in Syria.
A further evidence on this appeared few days ago when Kerry announced that his country will provide "non-lethal" weapons and equipment to the Syrian opposition, including "body armor and armored vehicles", in an implicit message to the terrorist groups to continue violence against the Syrian people.
EU Permits Supply of Military Aid to Opposition
In a similar move, the European Union amended arms embargo on Syria, thus officially legitimizing the supplying of weapons and military equipment to the armed opposition in Syria.
The amendment came in the framework of extending for three months the immoral unilateral sanctions imposed on Syria in violation of the UN Charter and the international law.
The sanctions ban export of oil derivatives and food and medical materials and equipment to Syria.
The new sanctions however permit the supply of armored vehicles, unspecified "non-lethal" military equipment and technical aid to the Syrian opposition.
This new open European move, which came in continuation of what the EU has been doing covertly, is considered a direct involvement in fueling the crisis in Syria by further inciting the opposition to reject political solution and go on with violence.
