10 years of inactivity seems like so long, and I guess it is in so many ways.  And yet I had no idea LiveJournal was still functional.

And weirdly I got an emailed notification that you’d just posted so some things aren’t broken! I was using LJ randomly for long blahs into the general direction of no-one when the urge took me but I just have no time any more when keeping up with my email is hard enough. Probably because I have to read so much of it at work. I’m in constant tapping contact with hundreds of people at the office and it already reduces what connection to reality and time to make stuff that I have left. Time is so precious. Speaking of making, one of my teachers at CIT has made the connection that we both know you :) His partner works at ABS, I mentioned Bart and said he was at ANCA that night and your name cropped up. Small world. Especially in Canberra. Learning digital art but he also teaches painting and silicon moulding units - Paul Murray.

My last housemate. Shame the travel and expense were too much for me when I had to prioritise the studio over being able to pay for the room. He was a great housemate and I did enjoy living down there.
