Parents came home last night. I was prepared. I cleaned the entire house, and made an apple pie, and bought some tulips that I put in a cut crystal vase. It was very pretty. They were completely surprised, and were also pleasantly surprised that I didn't destroy Sparky's soul. They were very grateful

Hahaha, I just now read the title of this one - and it's exactly what I've been listening to on repeat this past week. No joke. I heart the Killers. Hey you, get out of my head! ...Additionally? You're sweeter than pie to your parents. Well, obviously, I mean, to everybody. But baked goods? And tulips? And a Spic-'n'-Span (tm) house? You're so thoughtful! Also, glad to hear Sparky made it through the *cough* ordeal. :)
